🎯 Therapeutic Indications
- Non-articular rheumatic conditions
- Osteoarthritis
- Cervical spondylosis
- Infective inflammation
- Dental & traumatic inflammation
- Pain and fever associated with inflammation
📋 Dosage & Directions for Use
IBUCAP
- Adults: 4 to 6 capsules per day or as prescribed by the physician
IBUCAP Forte
- Adults & Children over 12 years: Initial dose 1 capsule, then if necessary, 1 capsule every 4 hours
- Do not exceed 3 capsules daily
- Children under 12 years: Not suitable
- Elderly: No special dosage modifications unless renal or hepatic function is impaired
⚠️ Contraindications
- Impaired kidney or liver function
- Cardiac arrhythmias
- Active peptic ulcer
- Gastrointestinal bleeding
- Known hypersensitivity to any ingredient
🚨 Adverse Reactions
- Long-term use: gastric ulcer, allergy, asthma, hypertension, hepatic/renal dysfunction, insomnia, vertigo, abdominal pain
- Large doses: restlessness, excitement, muscle tremor, tachycardia, liver damage, renal failure with acute tubular necrosis

🆘 Symptoms of Overdosage & Treatment
Ibuprofen
- Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, headache
- Treatment: gastric lavage or induced emesis; supportive care
Paracetamol
- Symptoms (first 24 hrs): pallor, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, abdominal pain, sweating
- Liver damage may appear 12–48 hrs post-ingestion
- Treatment: gastric lavage/emesis; antidotes like acetylcysteine or methionine
Caffeine
- Symptoms: recurrent coffee-ground emesis, diuresis, tachycardia, CNS stimulation

🔄 Drug Interactions
- Cholestyramine: reduces absorption
- Activated charcoal reduces absorption if given immediately
- Domperidone & Metoclopramide: enhance absorption
- Alcohol: potentiates hepatotoxicity
- Zidovudine: decreased effect
- Lithium: increased blood levels
- Aspirin & NSAIDs: increased bleeding/ulcer risk
- Methotrexate: increased toxicity risk
- Diazepam: cognitive impairment, extraocular muscle relaxation
- Pentobarbital: enhanced hypnotic effect
⚗️ Pharmacological Action
- Paracetamol: blocks peripheral pain impulse generation; inhibits hypothalamic heat-regulating center
- Ibuprofen: inhibits prostaglandin production via COX-1 and COX-2 blockade
- Caffeine: CNS stimulant via adenosine receptor blockade
