This medicine has been prescribed for you only. Do not pass it on to others. It may harm them, even if their signs of illness are the same as yours. You need to take this medicine carefully as said by the doctor or the pharmacist to get the best results from them.

1. WHAT TOBVITAL MULTIVITAMIN SYRUP IS AND WHAT IS USED FOR
Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup as multivitamin supplement is used to prevent vitamin deficiencies in babies and children up to 12 years old. It plays an essential role in the function of the eye, the growth and function of body tissues, bone growth, regulate proper carbohydrate and protein metabolism and utilization of energy from food. This medicine contains essential vitamins that a child or baby needs to grow and keep healthy. It is not designed for adults and children up 12years.
2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU TAKE TOBVITAL MULTIVITAMIN
Do not take Tobvital Multivitamin syrup:
- if your child is allergic to the vitamins or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6)
- your child is having other vitamin supplements
- your baby is receiving more than 500mls of formula milk per day. This is to avoid exceeding the safe upper limit of Vitamin A
Warnings and precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup:
If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, discuss this with your doctor before giving Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup.
Other medicines and Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if your child is taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
Your child can be given Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup if he or she is taking other medicines because the drops don't interfere with other medicines. However, do not give your child other vitamin preparations at the same time.
Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup with food and drink:
Your baby should not consume more than 500mls of formula milk per day whilst taking Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup. This is to avoid exceeding the safe upper limit of Vitamin A.
Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup contains Glucose.
This product contains sucrose and may be harmful to the teeth—make sure you clear this from the child's mouth with breast milk or rinse with water whichever is appropriate.
3. HOW TO TAKE TOBVITAL MULTIVITAMIN SYRUP
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- Children up to 1 year: 2.5ml
- Children between 2 to 5 years: 5ml
- Children between 6 to 12 years: 7.5ml
All are to be given thrice a day at about 8 hours intervals or as prescribed.
The spoon provided in the carton helps you give the correct dose to your child. Rinse with clean water and dry after every use.
Close the bottle tightly after every use.
If you miss a dose:
Give one as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for the next dose. Do not give an extra dose to make up for the one missed.
If you use too much:
Should your child have too much medicine tell your doctor even though it is unlikely that it will cause any harm.
4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Do not use this product if you know or suspect your child is allergic to any of ingredient. If your child feels ill after using Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup, or you notice any unusual or unexpected symptoms, tell your doctor or go to the Accident and Emergency department of your nearest hospital.

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet. You can also report side effects directly via:

5. HOW TO STORE TOBVITAL MULTIVITAMIN SYRUP
- Store below 30°C.
- Keep the bottle upright in its original carton and out of direct sunlight.
- Keep out the reach and sight of children.
- Do not use Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup after the date (month and year) printed after "Exp. Date" on the box and the bottle. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
- Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.
6. CONTENT OF THE PACK AND FURTHER INFORMATION
What Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup contains
Active Ingredients:
- Vitamin A (as Retinol Palmitate): 2000IU
- Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3): 3.5mcg
- Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1): 1mg
- Riboflavin (Vitamin B2): 1mg
- Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6): 0.5mg

What Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup looks like and contents of the pack
Tobvital Multivitamin Syrup is a mango flavoured yellow syrup in a 100ml glass amber bottle with a white plastic or metal cap with Entrance logo embossed on it. The pack also contains two-sided measuring spoon.
