1. What Shaltoux® Natural Lozenges are and what they are used for
Shaltoux® Natural Lozenges are a combination of natural ingredients traditionally used to help relieve cough and soothe sore throats.
The lozenges contain the following natural ingredients:
Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice): Helps loosen and expel mucus from the lungs.
Curcuma longa (Turmeric): Helps expel mucus, fights bacteria, and reduces swelling and redness associated with cough.
Phyllanthus emblica (Indian Gooseberry): Helps suppress cough.
Zingiber officinale (Ginger): Has antibacterial properties and helps suppress cough.
Peppermint (Menthol): Helps relieve throat irritation and soothes sore throats.
Honey: Helps suppress cough and soothes sore throats.
Shaltoux® Natural Lozenges are used for the relief of sore throat.
2. Before you use Shaltoux® Natural Lozenges
Do not use Shaltoux® Natural Lozenges if:
You are allergic to Glycyrrhiza glabra, Curcuma longa, Phyllanthus emblica, Zingiber officinale, peppermint, or any of the other ingredients in this product.
You have pollen allergies.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Shaltoux® Natural Lozenges are not recommended for pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers.
Taking other medicines
Always tell your healthcare professional if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines, including herbal, complementary, or traditional medicines.
Driving and using machines
Shaltoux® Natural Lozenges are not expected to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.
3. How to use Shaltoux® Natural Lozenges
Adults and children aged 6 years and above:
Take 1–2 lozenges 3–4 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Children below 6 years of age
Not recommended due to the risk of choking.
4. Possible side effects
Shaltoux® Natural Lozenges contain natural ingredients that are generally considered safe when used as directed.
However, some people may experience:
Heartburn
Diarrhoea
Burping
Mild stomach discomfort
These side effects are generally mild and occur infrequently.
If you experience any serious allergic reaction or any side effect not listed in this leaflet, discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider immediately.
5. How to store Shaltoux® Natural Lozenges
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack.
